This house extension encompassed a brand new kitchen, large dining and family living area with bi-fold doors to the rear and side of the extension and a downstairs cloakroom and utility room. We started this house building extension in Sunningdale Berkshire towards the end of July 2013 and completed in early October 2013. We began by demolishing an existing conservatory, excavating and building the foundations for the extension. We knocked out and completely removed two thirds of the downstairs supporting rear walls of the house whilst, installing custom made structural steel beams to support the upstairs of the building. The next stage in building the house extension involved building the shell of the building with a flat roof and large built in sky lantern, situated over the kitchen area. Once the building structure of the extension completed and water tight, the interior wiring and plumbing installed, ceilings and walls prepared and plastered and decorated. The downstairs floors are tiled though the extended area seamlessly, connecting with the entrance hall, cloakroom and utility area. The tiled patio was an additional building feature we were asked to quote and deliver at extra cost. The whole house extension has been finished to a very high standard with particular attention paid to every last detail.
