Victorian three bedroom detached house in Sunninghill, Berkshire meets Cubist.
From the road outside, this well presented Victorian detached house appears like many others in the village. However, venture round the back and you’re in for a pleasant surprise. Construction: Late November 2012 – February 2013.
The house extension opens out from the kitcken at back of the house, knocking through in to the new structure to create an open kitchen diner and living room with views over the back garden. The chimney breast and stack were removed to install a staircase down to a (fully tanked) basement with bedroom and en-suite bathroom. Bi-fold doors lead out to a kind of wooden bunker and back garden. The original plan was for a large patio area however, an old Oak tree and council prevented planned development.
