Building a new home from reclaimed materials is always an option if you want to blend gently to local environment with a particular style of housing or just want to make an impression.
The example shown here belongs to a family member, we did not actually build it.
It is a comfortable family home built from reclaimed building materials 24 years ago although it looks hundreds of years old.
Generally, we like a traditional build construction from bricks and mortar however, we do build wooden structures often with a factory manufatured timber frame.
